Finally got to Washington D.C. It is 4.10 pm. At 4.50 begins my check in for the flight in Sacramento. I am so happy that everything went fine with inspection, baggage, health, everything. Praise God!

People here are different. It feels that it is more free here. Yet what is that definition of freedom in this earthly sense of the word? The way they talk, the way they are so relaxed tells me volumes. It looks like they are sure of tomorrows certainty. It feels they live “in today”. It is electric!

As I went down the hallway to my gate I thought to myself: This is the place where I would like to die. This is the place where I would like to spend my last moments on earth. Though brothers in Nepal slightly exaggerate in saying that US is a “second heaven”, it is nevertheless a very close metaphor.
