Peacemaking Brochure

This is the sketch of a brochure for Conflict Studies (further on CS) class. We have to make a presentation by October 6.

This is the text of the task:

CST 200 Group Presentation

Dates: Oct 6 – chapters 2, 3, 4and 5, or Oct 13 – chapters 6, 7, 8 and 9
Grade: 12%

Groups will be assigned to organize a campaign to promote a certain track of peacemaking, based on Diamond and McDonald’s Multi-Track Diplomacy: A Systems Approach to Peace – on RESERVE

Teams will present the track and campaign to promote it in a 10-min (do not go overtime) creative presentation.

1-page 2-sided creative Brochure comes with the presentation (not after!) and contains:

• Front: a short summary of the chapter, and two current examples from own countries,*
• Back: and campaign content to join the given track.

All members should equally contribute to the project and be able to answer questions on the chapter.

The class will vote for one best presentation and it will get extra points.

* Make sure you have examples that fit your track clearly – not some other track! Be aware of the 9 tracks of peacemaking (below). Reading McDonald pp. 11-25 is required for everyone prior to presentations.
