I made some research and found out that one of those last texts in the first videos was taken from here. 58:58 “People, I am not angry…” Warning to Professing Christians.
I also took some time and listen to Dr. S.M. Lockridge’s sermon “That’s My King”. That’s not the best sermon I have ever heard, but that part where he goes into exalting Christ and naming all His names is brilliant.
I really like this genre of short films. Here you can say a lot in 5 minutes or even less. Sometimes the message of a sermon can be compressed into a couple punchy sentences and then developed. What I like here in both Albert Martins and Lockridge’s sermon is the unction of their preaching.
Last one is a clip, not a short film, but I included it anyway. It is recorded by Messianic Jewish rappers, but on the whole album (Theophanies) this one is the only song that is really strong to go as a single.
If going to rap music I would go to Shai Linne with his Lyrical Theology Part 1. and Lyrical Theology Part 2. Part 2 for some reason is weaker than Part 1.
