Today I came to hohorary consular of Lithuania in Nepal Rameswor Sapkota. That was a good meeting. I was a bit nervous. I even felt a bit homesick there. The meeting was very productive. Not only did I recieve a letter of non-objection for both bank and the University of Kathmandu, but I got an account in Mega Bank of which Mr. Rameswor is the director. Overall I felt welcomed at his place.
It is great to note that as I was at the bank, at Mr. Shambu’s office we had a great talk. He asked me what am I going to study. I said tabla drums. For how long, he says. I say, for a year. Then he says, when you finish your studies, we will meet together with Rameswor Sapkota and then he (Shambu) will sing and I (Alex) will play tabla.
Today also we got 2 bunk beds. Kids are happy. The only thing I missed were the measurements of mattresses. To make the long story short – now we need 3 more 3×6 feet mattresses.
Here I attach the picture of a tennis table. That would be great to make something like that for kids.
